Purchasing Terms
Lab Haven's Purchasing Policy
DepositsDeposits to reserve puppies are non-refundable. If we are unable to provide you with the puppy of your choice once you have placed a deposit, you may choose another puppy available at that time. If there is not another puppy available that meets your criteria (color, gender, etc.) you will be put on a waiting list for the next available one. We will notify you of your status on the waiting list, if requested, via phone or email. If you have reserved a puppy that is or becomes unable to be sold due to illness, defects, etc. you may choose another unreserved puppy, or be placed on the waiting list for a future puppy. If you have placed a deposit on a puppy and become unable to take the puppy, you may put your deposit toward another puppy within 12 months of your deposit date.
Final Payments
Final payments are due before or at the time of pick up or prior to shipping. If for some reason you become unable to take a puppy you have purchased in full, you will be given 3 days from the date of final payment to receive a refund (less the $250 deposit). After the 3 day period all final payments plus deposits are non-refundable, however you still have the option to apply your deposit and final payment to the purchase of another puppy from Lab Haven within 12 months. If you choose another puppy that is listed for a higher price than the original puppy you purchased, you will be responsible to pay the difference in the purchase price of the original puppy.
It is our goal that all our puppies are placed in loving homes. If ever for some reason you are not able to keep your dog you purchased from Lab Haven at any point in time, we ask that you please bring him/her, along with all AKC paperwork, back to Lab Haven to find a new home. We would much rather re-home a dog than see it go to a shelter or worse. No refund will be given.
Accepted Payment Methods:
- Personal Checks are accepted for deposits only.- Cash may be used if you pick your puppy up in person.
- Paypal
You may reserve your puppy of choice by either visiting the litter in person, or online. Feel free to call or email Lab Haven to find out about each puppy's individual personality.
Shipping
If shipping is needed, we can provide this service to any of the 48 Continental United States, for an additional $350.00. (Or $400.00 for two pups traveling together in the same kennel.) These are actual costs, we do not inflate this price at all. While we've never had an issue shipping a puppy, we cannot be held responsible once the puppy is dropped off at the airport.
Registration
We sell all our AKC puppies on a limited registration basis. Full AKC registration may be obtained at Lab Haven's discretion for an additional fee. Please let us know ahead of time if you are interested in full registration for a puppy you may be purchasing.
Additional Information
Lab Haven reserves the right to deny any sale we feel would put a puppy in an unsafe environment. We raise our puppies to be loving animals and want the very best for them as they are a part of our family until they become a part of yours.
